In January-May Ukrainian by-product coke plants produced 4.26 million tons of 6% moisture coke, down by 40.4% YoY, with May output on the level of 969 thousand tons, and 842 thousand tons in April.
It should be noted that Avdiivka, Yasinovskiy and Alchevsk By-Product Coke Plants increased coke output, but Zaporozhkoks decreased its output due to outdated equipment. All in all coke plants have increased their average daily production form 26 thousand tons to 31 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
