In January-April Zaporizhstal produced 1.23 million tons of carbon steel, down by 4.4% YoY.
According to the company statement, its pig iron output went up by 3.4%, to 1.12 million tons, while that of rolled metal decreased by 4.2%, to 1.07 million tons, all YoY.
In April the works produced 259.3 thousand tons of pig iron, 293.5 thousand tons of steel and 247.6 thousand tons of rolled metal.
Steel and rolled metal output decrease is explained by the overhaul of the blast furnace #2, that cost 200 million UAH and was carried in 57 days (February-April). (Ukrainian metal)
