In January-April Ukraine exported 2439.09 thousand tons of carbon steel semi-finished products, down by 32.3% YoY.
Export income fell by 47%, to $914.87 million.
Steel semis were mostly exported to Egypt (24.01% in monetary terms), Turkey (22.86%) and Italy (20.44%).
In the given period Ukraine imported 2.752 thousand tons of steel semis, down by 80.9% YoY. Imports also fell by 85.9%, to $1.15 million. The main supplier of steel semis to Ukraine was Russia (82.45% of deliveries). (Ukrainian metal)
