In January-March Ukrainian companies exported 265.81 thousand tons of ferrous metals scrap, up by 71%, worth $69.02 million, up by 40.3%, YoY.
At the same time Ukraine decreased its scrap import by 96.9%, to 785 tons (24.92 thousand tons in Q1 2014), or by 86.8%, to $1.27 million, YoY.
The only supplier of ferrous metals scrap to Ukraine in Q1 was Turkey, with Ukraine supplying to Turkey (92.63%), Moldova (6.54%) and UK (0.63%). (Ukrainian metal)
