In 2014 Ukrainian ferroalloy companies produced 1.08 million tons of ferroalloys, up by 24.7% YoY.
In particular, silicomanganese output went up by 32.7%, to 840.9 thousand tons, ferromanganese manufacture increased by 23.2%, to 103 thousand tons, while 45% ferrosilicon production decreased by 3.7%, to 142.3 thousand tons, and that of metallic manganese fell by 81.9%, to 1.3 thousand tons.
It should be noted that the Stakhanov Ferroalloy Plant remains idle because of the military activity in the region. (Ukrainian metal)
