In January-November Ukrainian metal companies produced 25.24 million tons of carbon steel, down by 15.9% YoY.
Pig iron output went down by 13.6% to 23.03 million tons, while rolled metal manufacture fell by 16.4% to 22.13 million tons.
Metallurgical coke output decreased by 19.9% to 12.92 million tons, while that of steel pipes – by 13.5% to 1.3 million, all YoY.
In 2013 Ukrainian metal companies produced 29.03 million tons of rolled metal, 32.68 million tons of steel and 29.11 million tons of pig iron, all up by 0.3%, 0.9% and 2.1% YoY respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
