In January-April Ukrainian metal companies produced 10.08 million tons of carbon steel, down by 8.8% YoY.
At the same time pig iron manufacture decreased by 2.7%, to 9.41 million tons, while rolled metal production dropped by 8.5%, to 8.98 million tons.
In 2013 Ukrainian metal companies increased rolled metal output by 0.3%, to 29.03 million tons, that of steel – by 0.9%, to 32.68 million tons, while pig iron manufacture rose by 2.1%, to 29.11 million tons, all YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
