In 2014 Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after Dzerzhinsky (Dneprodzerzhinsk) plans to increase steel output by 11.6%, or 340.2 thousand tons, to 3272.7 thousand tons, as compared with 2013.
Production plan for 2014 is as follows: 5150.8 thousand tons of sinter against 4658.9 thousand tons in 2013, 3072.4 thousand tons of pig iron (2640 thousand tons in 2013) and 3272.7 thousand tons of steel (2932.5 thousand tons in 2013). (Ukrainian metal)
