In 2016 Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after Dzerzhinsky plans to increase steel output by 33.08% YoY, or by 789 thousand tons, to 3.09 million tons.
According to the company statement, it also intends to produce 5025.9 thousand tons of sinter (3946.7 thousand tons in 2015) and 2879.3 thousand tons of pig iron (2324.5 thousand tons). Steel output last year totaled 2324.5 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
