In February in Ukraine steel manufacture (without continuous-cast semi-products) decreased by 16.5%, to 1053 thousand tons, YoY, but increased by 2.4% MoM.
In January-February Ukraine produced 2082 thousand tons of steel, down by 19% YoY.
Continuous-cast semi-products output decreased in February by 7.7% YoY, to 1341 thousand tons, and again by 7.7% MoM. In January-February the output was on the level of 2795 thousand tons, down by 4.8% YoY.
Pig iron manufacture decreased in February by 2.7%, to 2.2 million tons, YoY and by 6% MoM. In January-February pig iron output totaled 4539 thousand tons, down by 4.6% YoY.
Rolled ferrous metals output in February decreased by 17.4%, to 1159 thousand tons, YoY, and by 8.9% MoM. January-February results witnessed a decrease by 16.4%, to 2431 thousand tons, YoY.
In February Ukraine produced 124 thousand tons of pipes and tubes, down by 17.2% YoY, and up by 29.2% MoM. In January-February Ukraine produces 219 thousand tons of products, down by 14% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
