In January Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works decreased its rolled metal output by 5.4%, to 347 thousand tons, as compared with January 2013 (367 thousand tons).
The works also decreased its output of steel by 4.7%, to 380 thousand tons, and pig iron production by 8.6%, to 350 thousand tons, as opposed to 399 and 383.5 thousand tons respectively in January 2013.
In December 2013 the company produced 333 thousand tons of rolled metal, 372 thousand tons of steel and 333 thousand tons of pig iron.
In January it was planned to produce 390 thousand tons of steel and 350 thousand tons of pig iron.
In February Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works plans to produce 345 thousand tons of steel and 310 thousand tons of pig iron. (Ukrainian metal)
