In January-September Ukraine’s ferroalloy production decreased by 22.4% compared to the same period last year to 623,500 tons, according to the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers (UkrFA).

In the given period Ukraine’s silicomanganese output decreased by 17.3% to 455,800 tons, while its ferromanganese production declined by 55.3% to 60,200 tons, both year on year.

In the first nine months of this year the largest Ukrainian ferroalloy producer Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant’s ferroalloy output decreased by 33.2% year on year to 332,800 tons, including 309,400 tons of silicomanganese and 23,400 tons of ferromanganese. (SteelOrbis/Ukrainian metal)
