Zaporizhstal said that steel production rose by 1% on the year in January to July to 2.2 million tons.
The company’s pig iron production remained flat in the period at 1.8 million tons, while rolled steel output rose by 3% to around 1.8 million tons.
Zaporizhstal produced 341,600 tons of steel in July, up on the year by 8% and rolled metal output increased by around 10% to 282,900 tons in the same period. (SteelGuru)
