In May 2013 Ukraine’s crude steel production is expected to fall by an estimated 4.2% compared to March to 2.75 million tons.
Pig iron output in Ukraine will total 2.520 million tons in May, up by 0.2% compared to March, while Ukrainian production of rolled steel is expected to total 2.5 million tons, down by 2.3% compared to March.
In April Ukrainian companies plan to produce 2.620 million tons of crude steel, 2.340 million tons of pig iron and 2.380 million tons of rolled steel. (SteelGuru)
