According to the data, issued by Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers, in the January to August period of the current year Ukraine registered a 6% increase YoY in its long steel product imports to 278,880 tons.
In August alone Ukraine’s long steel product imports decreased by 3.5% MoM to 34,860 tons.
In the January to August period Ukrainian exports of long steel products increased by 2.3% compared to the same period of 2011 to 3.844 million tons. In August alone Ukraine’s long steel product exports increased by 25.5% MoM to 509,710 tons. (SteelOrbis)
