According to the data, issued by Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers, in the January to August period of the current year Ukraine registered a 24.8% increase year on year in its flat steel imports to 568,370 tons. In August alone Ukraine’s flat steel imports decreased by 6.8% compared to July to 100,750 tons.
On the other hand, in the first 8 months of the current year Ukraine’s flat steel exports decreased by 11.2% YoY to 4.634 million tons. In August alone Ukraine’s flat steel exports increased by 5.3% compared to July to 537,710 tons. (SteelOrbis)
