In 2012 Ukraine’s rolled steel production will decline by 4-5% YoY to 30 million tons.
Pig iron output in Ukraine will total 29 million tons in 2012, while Ukrainian production of crude steel in the year is expected to be 33.5 million tons.
In the first seven months of the current year Ukraine registered a 7% decline in its finished steel product output to 17.320 million tons, a 4% decrease in its crude steel output to 19.385 million tons and a 1% rise in its pig iron production to 16.806 million tons. (SteelOrbis)
