According to the data, issued by Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers, in the January to June period of the current year Ukraine registered a 15.2% increase YoY in its flat steel imports to 453,980 tons. In June Ukraine’s flat steel imports decreased by 28.5% compared to May to 79,630 tons.
On the other hand, in the first six months of the current year Ukraine’s flat steel exports decreased by 9.2% YoY to 3.586 million tons. In June Ukraine’s flat steel exports decreased by 15.7% compared to May to 602,210 tons. (SteelOrbis)
