Ukrainian steelmaker Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after F. Dzerzhinsky, a subsidiary of the Ukrainian steel producer Industrial Union of Donbass, has stated that it plans to increase crude steel production in the current year by 10.9% YoY compared to 2011 to 3.551 million tons.
In 2012 its production of pig iron will rise by 4.47% to 3.229 million tons, while the output of agglomerate will increase by 16.8% YoY to 5.506 million tons. (SteelGuru)
