In the January to May period of the current year the crude steel production of the Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal increased by 18% YoY reaching 1.597 million tons.
In the given period Zaporizhstal saw an 8% increase in its pig iron production to 1.226 million tons and a 17% increase in its finished steel production to 1.317 million tons. In January to May Zaporizhstal produced 2.222 million tons of agglomerate, up by 12% YoY. (SteelOrbis)
