In the first 5 months of the current year the Ukrainian metallurgical company Dneprospetsstal (DSS) posted an 18% YoY increase in its crude steel production to 176,000 tons. The company’s output of finished steel in the same period went up by 19% compared to January to May 2010 rising to 113,000 tons.
Dneprospetsstal’s activities cover the design, manufacture and distribution of stainless, tool, high speed, bearing and alloy structural steel products. DSS’ products are used in the manufacture of machinery parts, tools for metal and alloy machining, seamless pipes and bearings. (SteelOrbis)
