It is reported that in 2010 Ukraine’s long steel exports increased by 17.3% YoY to about 5.775 million tons valued at almost $3.3 billion.
In December 2010 Ukraine’s long steel product exports went down by 3.4% MoM but increased by 8.2% YoY to 486,790 tons valued at $307.22 million, down by 2.6% MoM.
Ukraine’s main long steel export destinations in December 2010 were Russia (83,270 tons), Iraq (82,740 tons), India (43,570 tons), Romania (28,640 tons), Jordan (27,170 tons) and Nigeria (20,510 tons). (SteelOrbis)
