It is reported that in 2010 Ukraine’s steel pipe imports increased by 59.5% YoY to 62,840 tons valued at $111.95 million.
In December 2010 Ukraine’s steel pipe imports increased by almost 85% MoM and by 218% YoY to 9,560 tons valued at $14.87 million. Specifically, in December 2010 Ukraine imported 6,560 tons of seamless pipes, up by 181% MoM, of which 5,340 tons were supplied from Russia.
Ukraine’s imports of steel pipes of more than 406.4 mm outside diameter amounted to 1,140 tons in December 2010, down by 36% MoM, of which 1,070 tons were imported from Russia. In addition, in December 2010 Ukraine imported 1,860 tons of other tubes, pipes and hollow profiles, up by 77% MoM, of which 1,100 tons were shipped from Italy. (SteelOrbis)
