It is reported that production results of Zaporizhstal steel works in 2010 compared to 2009 are:
– pig iron increased by 1% to 2.763 million tons;
– steel smelting increased by 5% to 3.449 million tons;
– finished steel increased by 3.6% to 2.846 million tons;
– sinter is 4.9 million tons.
The major companies, where Zaporizhstal has a stake, performed in 2010 as below:
Zaporozhye iron ore mining and processing plant increased iron ore production by 4.6% to 4.5 million tons. In December 2010 it produced 355,000 tons.
Zaporozhkoks decreased production by 0.3% to 1.240 million tons of coke. In December 2010 it produced 115,000 tons of coke.
Lugansk Tube Plant increased production by 46% to 231,000 tons. December 2010 production was 25300 tons of steel tubes. (Rusmet)
