According to the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers, in January to November Ukraine’s ferroalloys production increased by 41.2% YoY to 1.31 million tons.
During 11 months Ukraine’s silicomanganese output increased by 29% to 861,100 tons, its ferromanganese production went up 2.3 times to 258,600 tons, its ferrosilicon output increased by 32% to 176,700 tons and its metallic manganese production increased by 3% to 14,000 tons.
Specifically, in January to November the largest Ukrainian ferroalloy producer Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant increased its ferroalloy output by 42% YoY to 842,000 tons, including 647,300 tons of silicomanganese and 194,700 tons of ferromanganese.

Meanwhile, during the period in question, Ukrainian ferroalloy producer Zaporozhye Ferro Alloys Plant increased its ferroalloy output by 35.6% YoY to 268,300 tons, including 137,600 tons of silicomanganese, 63,900 tons of ferromanganese, 52,800 tons of ferrosilicon and 14,000 tons of metallic manganese.
In addition, another major Ukrainian ferroalloy producer – Stakhanov Ferroalloy Plant – increased its January to November ferroalloy output by 45.5% YoY to 200,100 tons, including 123,900 tons of ferrosilicon and 76,200 tons of silicomanganese. (SteelOrbis)
