It is reported that starting from February this year, Ukrainian steel output steadily increased on a MoM basis however in May the country saw its crude steel output decrease by 4.4% MoM to 2.84 million tons.

Seven largest Ukrainian steel producers production details:
ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih: finished steel output – up by 25.5% YoY to 2.224 million tons, crude steel output – up by 36.8% YoY to 2.581 million tons, pig iron output – up by 33.2% YoY to 2.243 million tons,  agglomerate output – up by 32% YoY to 4.045 million tones, coke output – up by 8.8% YoY to 1.102 million tons, iron ore concentrate output –  up by 43.7% YoY to 3.594 million tons, iron ore output – down by 8.5% YoY to 516,000 tons.
Azovstal: crude steel output – up by 56.8% YoY to 2.387 million tones, pig iron production – rise by 56.3% YoY to 2.041 million tones, finished steel production – increase by 57.7% YoY to 2.236 million tons, metallurgical coke output registered an increase of 12.5% YoY to 865,600 tons.
Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works: finished steel product output – up by 46.1% YoY to 1.594 million tons, pipe production – up 5.7 times YoY to 59,500 tons, crude steel production went up by 48.8% YoY to 2.294 million tons, pig iron output rose by 47% to 1.928 million tons, agglomerate production increased by 52.8% YoY to 4.554 million tons.
Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after F. Dzerzhinsky: crude steel production dropped by 8.6% YoY to 1.323 million tons, pig iron production – down by 6.2% YoY to 1.272 million tons, finished steel declined by 9% YoY to 1.261 million tons, agglomerate production rose by 0.8% YoY to 1.982 million tones.
Zaporizhstal: finished steel production increased by 0.14% to 1.121 million tons, crude steel production went up by 1.4% YoY to 1.355 million tons, agglomerate production went down by 0.75% to 1.982 million tons, pig iron production increased by 2.1% YoY to 1.141 million tons.
Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works: pig iron production fell by 3.9% YoY 1.3 million tons, finished steel production declined by 3% YoY to 1.362 million tons, crude steel production went down by 1.5% YoY to 1.471 million tons, agglomerate production increased by 10.8% YoY to 1.98 million tons.
Yenakievo Iron and Steel Works: pig iron production rose by 1.6% YoY to 906,200 tons, finished steel output climbed up 4% YoY to 1.016 million tons, crude steel production went up by 1.8% YoY to 1.049 million tons, agglomerate production decreased by 15.7% YoY to 748,000 tons. (SteelOrbis)
