According to the data for the first two months of 2010, Ukrainian exports of steel pipes decreased by 18.7% YoY to 145,620 tons and its semi-finished steel product exports dropped by 17.1% YoY to 1.54 million tons.
In January to February this year, the country exports of flat rolled steel increased by 9.6% YoY to 1.011 million tons and its exports of long steel went up by 43% YoY to 922,030 tons.
In addition, in January-February, Ukraine registered an 86.9% YoY increase in its pig iron exports to 243,980 tons, a 47.5% YoY rise in its coke exports to 211,480 tons and a 36.5% YoY growth in its scrap exports to 43,590 tons. (SteelOrbis)
