It is reported that Zaporizhstal starts construction of its oxygen converter shop in 2010. All objects within the zone of construction to be demolished and removed.
The cost of construction is $2 billion, the terms are not disclosed.
Zaporizhstal is one of the four largest integrated steel works in Ukraine, but the steel is obtained there by open-hearth process only. (Rusmet)
