It is reported that Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant, the largest Ukrainian ferroalloy producer, has announced that it has completed the capital repairs of its melting furnace No 2 which is planned to be put into operation by April this year.
During the last ten years, NZF has carried out capital repairs at a total of ten melting furnaces. Meanwhile, in 2009 NZF registered a decrease by 20% YoY in its ferroalloys production to about 660,000 tons with its December output amounting to 66,916 tons.
