It is reported that Ukrainian steel producers are going to increase slab export by 50% MoM to 55% MoM to 430,000 tonnes to 450,000 tonnes in September.
Azovstal kept on August level at 250,000 tonnes due to 100% usage of slabbing capacities. Illich Steelworks also maintained August export level at 45,000 to 50,000 tonnes while Alchvesk Steelworks is going to reach 160,000 tonnes to 180,000 tonnes level.
The reason of such significant growth is the increase of the demand from EU countries.
