ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih has sent an open letter to the president of Ukraine Petr Proshenko, the Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman, the general prosecutor Yuri Lutsenko and the Krivoy Rog city mayor Yuri Vilkul.

The company CEO Paramjit Kahlon voiced against the discriminative attitude to AMKR, connected with the increase of the land tax.

The company used to pay 0.9% of the evaluation cost of the 8 thousand ha of land, after the increase of the tax the company has to pay 1.01% of the 12% maximum possible.

With the increase of the tax rate AMKR payments to the city budget have sharply increased. (Ukrainian metal)
