To resume operation at Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Combine, a part of the Industrial Union of Donbass, a financing of 4 billion UAH is needed, as well as new raw materials sources.
“The enterprise is in the poor condition now. The accounts are arrested, there are over 40 claims as to debts, and the machinery desperately needs modernization. We have to start looking for finances for minimal investments at once”, the ISD minority shareholder Sergey Taruta said.
“I will do my best to pursue this mission. I agree to become a negotiator with our Russian partners, who strangely have so little interest in their own enterprise”, he added. (Ukrainian metal)
