PJSC ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih launches flashmob #stayinukraine “I stay to work in Ukraine” for those patriots of their country, town, company, who are not ready to capitulate abroad and who are energetic enough to support Ukraine during tough transformational period of changes.
Currently PJSC ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih, the biggest steel and mining plant of Ukraine, as well as other employers, is suffering from staff attrition that is leaving looking for a job abroad. According to surveys, up to 65% of the citizens note, that they are ready to leave the country searching for higher-paid job. However it often happens that disappointment and inadaptability to new conditions, heavy labor without rest during several months break the prospects and plans, often in parallel with families’ destructions due to forced distance as well as with loss of faith in own successful future. With launch of visa free regime for the Ukrainians the open possibility occurred to travel to the country of European Union wherefrom it is possible to bring back new contacts, business-partnership, modern practices and experience. But it is necessary to direct these skills to the development of own country, which now is critically in need of experienced, concerned, self-confident specialists who are ready to invest their knowledge in the development of the state.
PJSC ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih, the enterprise of the industry, which contributes a lot to economy of the country, encourages its employees to stay in the company and in Ukraine, while significantly improving the working conditions of its employees. From May 1, AMKR has increased the salary of its employees up to 70%. As of now, average salary at the company amounts to UAH 11,128. Besides, this year the company will allocate UAH 353 million for social development of its personnel, about UAH 168 million to improve employees’ health, UAH 317 million for Health and Safety, as production safety and health of personnel are the key priorities of ArcelorMittal.
