Russia: ferrous metals imports via railroad up in H1 2017
In January-June the Russian Railroads transported 41.6 million tons of ferrous metals, up by 2.8% YoY. Local transportation amounted to 21.8 million tons, up by 1.4% YoY. International transportation increased by 4.3%, to 9.8 million tons. Imports accounted for 2.5 million tons, up by 60%, exports dropped by 0.5%, to 16.61 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
