Ukraine: DTEK Pavlogradskoye MG puts new long face into operation

On March 5, methane ignited at Yubileynaya mine, a part of DTEK Pervomayskoye Mine Group.
Last year DTEK exported 1.4 million tons of coal, down b 65.8% YoY.
DTEK Pershotravenskoye Mine Group has put a new long face with 400 thousand tons of coal into operation at the Yubileinaya mine. That would be enough for 6 months of work.
Dneprovskoye Mine Group has put into operation two new long faces with the total reserves of coal on the level of 930 thousand tons. This will let the miners work till the end of the year.
DTEK Ternovskoye Mine Group shaftmen have overcome the largest geological separation of the Western Donbass – the 50km long crack known as the Bogdanovsky sbros.
DTEK denies that it stimulates miner strikes in the Western Ukraine, as claimed by the energy minister Vladimir Demchyshin.
The minister of energy and coal industry Vladimir Demchyshin said, DTEK was stimulating miner strikes in Western Ukraine.
