State Enterprise Ukrpromvneshexpertiza has recorded the maximum level of ferrous scrap exports in June for the last 10 years.
In January-June Ukraine exported 739.18 thousand tons of ferrous metals scrap, up by 56.7% or 59.4% YoY, depending on the source. Thus the Customs service states 471.68 thousand tons of scrap exports in January-June 2014, while the State Statistics claim it was 463.59 thousand tons.
State Enterprise Ukrpromvneshexpertiza says ferrous metal scrap prices would fall to 4100 UAH per ton in July-September.

In January-May Ukraine exported 509,361 tons of ferrous scrap metal, up by 58% YoY, worth a total of $126.284 million, up by 26% YoY.
In April Ukraine exported $32.01 million worth of ferrous metals scrap, with imports on the level of $0.15 million.
In March Ukraine exported $30.53 million worth of ferrous metals scrap, with imports totaling $0.45 million.
