According to the State Fiscal Service, in June the main importer of Ukrainian semis was Italy ($70.07 million). According to the State Fiscal Service, Egypt was the primary importer of Ukrainian steel semis in May ($63.81 million). According to the State Fiscal Service, the main importer of steel semis in April was Egypt ($52.38 million). In February Ukraine exported $179.26 million worth of semi-finished steel products, while imports reached $1.27 million.
After the news of the rebar prices fall at Turkish ports and due to the low demand in February 15-19, semi-finished products prices fell by $5-7 per ton and now don’t exceed $260 pet ton CIF. Some manufacturers have decreased their prices for late February deliveries to $257 per ton CIF.
In January Ukraine exported $123.93 million worth of steel semi-finished products, with imports on the level of $0.78 million.
In 2015 Ukraine exported $2542.03 million worth of steel semi-finished products, while imports reached $13.33 million.
