In January-October Ukraine exported 6.19 million tons of carbon steel semi-finished products worth $2.98 billion, down by 22.2% and 45% YoY respectively.
According to the customs statistics, the main importers of Ukrainian steel semis were Egypt (29.02%), Turkey (22.37%) and Italy (18.39%).
At the same time in 10 months Ukraine imported 4.66 thousand tons of carbon steel semis worth $2.08 million, down by 85.8% and 88.7% YoY respectively.
The main suppliers of semis were Russia (82.71%), Czech Republic (12.1%) and Moldova (3.79%). (Ukrainian metal)
