In order to improve polymetallic ores processing at the Khandiza deposits, the processing factory has been reconstructed, adding 6 Ts-15 thickeners. In 2016 Almalyk Mining and Processing Works manufactured an industrial machine to produce coal briquettes. The further works is underway. In January the works produced and assembled 5 new machines. By May the company plans to have produced 61 units.
Almalyk Mining and Processing Works started manufacturing new product – copper wire. The output at the shop will reach 5 thousand tons of copper wire per year with the diameter of 1-4.5 mm.
