In January-November, Ukraine increased ferrous scrap exports by 62.4% YoY, to 261.578 thousand tons.
According to the State Customs Service, revenue grew by 76.8%, to $82.05 million.
The main customer was Poland (82.56%), followed by Greece (12.58%) and Germany (3.49%).
In November, Ukraine exported 34.6 thousand tons of scrap, up from 24.54 thousand tons in October. So far this year this is the largest result.
Over 11 months, Ukraine imported 100 tons of scrap valued at $108 thousand, down from 987 tons for $383 thousand last year.
This year, the main supplier was Turkiye (65.74% in monetary terms), followed by the British Virgin Isles (1667%) and Panama (6.48%). (Ukrainian metal)
