According to the Federal Service of State Statistics (Rosstat), in 2017 the manufacture of steel structures and their parts totaled 4.2 million tons, up by 7.9% YoY.
The December 2017 results decreased by 13.8% MoM and by 1.7% YoY.
The experts believe that the output decrease in the second half of 2017 has to do with the completion of major constructions – sports arenas for the World Cup 2018, as well as infrastructure projects.
Aluminum constructions manufacture increased by 1.3% YoY, to 58.1 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
