In 2017 the Kimkano-Sutar Mining and Processing Works will bring around 300 million rubles of taxes to the budget of the Jewish Autonomous District, the regional governor Alexander Levintal announced.
By mid-2017 it is planned to put the works to full operation.
According to the company CEO Yuri Makarov, in December 2016 the works produced some 60 thousand tons of iron ore concentrate, and in January increased output to 100 thousand tons.
By summer the company intends to produce around 260 thousand tons per month. At present the company is operating at 30% capacity. (Ukrainian metal)
