In January-September, Uzbekistan significantly increased its exports of non-monetary gold, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The value of gold exports reached $9.9 billion, up by 70.9% YoY.
Gold’s share in the country’s total exports rose to 37.1%, compared with 28.9% in January-September last year, underscoring the key role of the precious metal in Uzbekistan’s foreign trade. (UzDaily)
