In January-September, Ukraine increased scrap exports by 54.1% YoY, to 311.84 thousand tons.
According to the State Customs Service, in September exports dropped to 28.785 thousand tons from 34.713 thousand tons in August.
In monetary terms exports grew by 44.6%, to $93.571 million.
The main customer was Poland (81.95% in monetary terms), followed by Greece (5.92%) and Italy (4.5%).
Over 9 months, Ukraine imported 34 tons of scrap for $13 thousand from Poland (53.85%), the Seychelles (30.77%) and the British Virgin Isles (7.69%). (Ukrainian Metal)
