On the night of June 17, Russia launched a missile attack on the Electro Cable Group plant in Zaporizhia. This was reported by Electro Cable Group.

The Zaporizhzhia Non-Ferrous Metals Plant (ZZCM), a part of Electro Cable Group, was hit by a missile as a result of an attack by Russian troops. According to the company, two high-precision Kalibr missiles hit the plant.

“Two direct, guided and targeted strikes,” the statement said.

The plant specializes in the production of copper cable and is one of the market leaders in Ukraine.

Fortunately, none of the employees were injured. The company has already begun restoring the damaged production facilities. (URP)
