Centravis has supplied pipes to the American aerospace company SpaceX.
“Centravis has received a special order, the end customer of which is SpaceX. That’s 28 tons of thick-walled pipes with a combination of features, like plasticity, hardness, high pressure-resistance and operation in aggressive environment,” the company reported.
It is expected that the pipes will be used to supply fuel to SpaceX rockets.
“The order was fulfilled within 2 and a half months at our main manufacture in Nikopol. The pipes have already been shipped via Allied Stainless Group Inc.,” Centravis Sales America sales manager Dmytro Kyselenko has reported. (Ukrainian metal)
