Almalyk Mining and Processing Works is expanding manufacture of high-temperature ceramic wares.
Under the project, the company has purchased a high-temperature chamber gas-flame furnace with the volume of 10 cubic meters.
The furnace was launched on March 20.
The maximum temperature in the furnace is 1,800 degrees C. In one go, the furnace can roast 3.5 thousand standard refractory bricks. Natural gas is used as fuel for the furnace. (Ukrainian metal)
