In June, Ukraine exported 169.3 thousand tons of pig iron, up by 75.5% MoM.
In monetary terms exports have increased by 60.1%, to $65.3 million.
According to the State Customs Service, compared with June 2022 exports went up by 35.7%, but decreased by 16.5% respectively.
In January-June, Ukraine exported 799.7 thousand tons of pig iron (+26.1% YoY) for $309.15 million (-7.9%).
The main customer was Poland with the share of 66%. It was followed by Spain with 15.8% and the Czech Republic with 8.1%.
Before the Russian invasion, more than half of pig iron was exported to the USA. (Ukrainian metal)
