The Pecherskiy Court of Kyiv has ruled to place top managers of Poltava Mining and Processing Works and a straw company into a pre-trial detention center with the alternative of a bail.
All the six are suspected of embezzlement.
The organizer of the criminal scheme has to pay 60 million UAH, and the rest – from 2 to 40 million UAH.
The suspects tried to evade the investigators, but nevertheless were detained and convoyed to the court.
They illegally got hold of almost 400 million UAH from the extraction and further sale of mineral deposits without license. (Ukrainian metal)
