Rudomine LLC is negotiating the development of parts of the Yuzhniy quarry to extract iron ore.
The company intends to develop sites Nos. 2 and 3 of the quarry.
The plan dates back to 2019, when the company first announced its intention.
Rudomine plans to extract 1.6 million tons of iron ore per year. The size of the site No. 2 is 24.2 ha and No. 3 – 59.21 ha. Their combined iron ore reserves are estimated at 35.665 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
